Connecting plasterboard to wooden beams

We would like to point out another case where the joint between plasterboard and an admitted wooden beam was treated with acrylic sealant. The joint was fine for about one year, but after that time, due to the expansion of the wood, a large crack developed along the joint. It can only be repaired by re-grouting, but this is also only a temporary solution. Prevent these unpleasant cracks with the PROTEKTOR finishing profile. The joint between the plasterboard and the wooden beam is fixed with a narrow joint and will not crack.
