The following article focuses on the details of the insulation of the building in Námestovo. Our aim was to contribute to the correct solution of the details in the area of the connection of the stone cladding to the eaves walkway and the fixing of the nop foil. It is this detail that is often underestimated and the nop foil is exposed and does not fulfil its protective but also drainage function. For the shade transitions, an external corner profile with a nose was used. Its shape proved to be very suitable and thanks to it, the transitions between the white and grey structure of the façade are defined by straight lines created directly by the protruding nose. Without the use of this profile, the outer corners would have been jagged and the whole implementation of the insulation would have been done in the wrong way.
Use of profiles required for insulation
The connections of the plumbing elements to the silicate plaster are important in the insulation. Our suggestion was to use a termination profile at the sheathing, thus creating a watertight connection of the plumbing elements without the use of silicone sealant. The following profiles were used for the details of the insulation of the aforementioned building:
You can see the overall result, which was created thanks to the use of these profiles, in the image gallery below.
