Repair of original plaster of historical buildings
For the rehabilitation of plaster, a procedure is required that is guaranteed by the mortar manufacturer. Between the waterproofing plaster and the BAUMIT perimeter remediation system, we recommend the use of a BAUMIT stainless steel plinth profile, which will also serve as a mechanical barrier against water ingress into the masonry in the plinth area. The manufacturer BAUMIT requires the following :
- Baumit preparation of the substrate for external wall plastering with cement pre-coat with 100 % coverage
- Baumit substrate preparation for external wall plastering with cementitious pre-coat with 50% coverage
- Baumit external plaster Sanova W wall leveling,
- Baumit exterior lime-cement plaster core machine Grob Putz walls
- Baumit exterior plaster Sanova fine
- Baumit liquid facade primer
- Baumit exclusive Liquid silicone facade coating
