There it is solved differently. The fact is that the truss works and at the chimney it is necessary to treat possible leakage in the area of the sheathing. There, most plumbers only address this by using flashings and a transparent sealant. This solution is only suitable for the lifetime of the silicone. And that is very little. By using a termination profile in the flashings, you guarantee watertightness in this joint for at least the lifetime of the building work.
