PVC tape should be used on either a wooden or metal grid. They fulfil an important function. Therefore, they need to be used.
Facade board manufacturers require the boards to be separated from the grid with EPDM tapes. These are of high quality and colourfast, but are of course more expensive. We would like to present you with a solution to economically ensure that the underlying grid under the facade boards is not visible. It just depends on the manufacturer’s requirements as to what thickness of expansion joint he requires. The tapes are made of softened PVC, which guarantees flexibility and colour fastness.
The solution is the use of PVC tapes, which are produced in material thicknesses of 0.5 mm, 0.70 mm and 1.2 mm:
