Many people imagine that the walls are meshed with a 4 x 4 mm mesh grid and this is incorporated into the construction adhesive. They then want to apply a single coat of plaster to the wall. This procedure unnecessarily increases the cost of the plaster and is completely unnecessary. Full-width plaster re-gridding is achieved by incorporating a 10 x 10 mm mesh grid directly into the fresh pre-coat of the single-layer machine plaster.
