Current situation in the roof construction segment in Slovakia and the Czech Republic
The situation in Slovakia and the Czech Republic is marked by a bad situation in the training of new and young roofers, resulting in an acute shortage of workers in this segment. New technologies are knocking at our door and we also have to deal with the traditional decline in craftsmen who have traditionally been skilled. The solution lies in training, across professions and by continually looking for suitable workers from other sectors. The necessary craftsmanship skills can be replaced in the future by prefabricated solutions that can be built into the roof without the need for a certificate in the trade. THIS may seem unacceptable at the time, but it is also a solution. To find suitable compromises for the future, so that the construction industry is not only of high quality but also sustainable in terms of labour supply.

Our company’s product range is a continuation of the previous issues. Many tools are in the assortment, especially because of the higher efficiency of the workers on the roof. If the worker does not have the necessary knowledge in the field, these tools also guarantee correct installation. This is especially the case for the tools for the installation of the gutter system or for the tools for carpenters and roofers. This is especially the case for companies that build bungalows or prefabricated houses. Reading their daily emails and messages on their smartphone, taking and sharing photos of construction, also on their phone. Also other functions are an electronic spirit level on the phone or linking and calculating surfaces also using the phone. These “gadgets” need to be talked about and tried to be used. The introduction of modern technology will make the field more attractive and the company in which they could work more prestigious. I recommend that you think about it. So try to think about the points below and how you could use them in your business:

JOUANEL machines with CNC control
In the end, we concluded the meeting with Mr. Kučera with an overview of machines that have built-in CNC control. The advantage is that they can be linked to site preparation and then share production requirements directly to the workshop. The worker has the production instruction immediately entered into the machine’s memory and this makes it possible to avoid possible production errors. Speed and efficiency are essential.
