The investor required a solution from the contractor to secure the rafters in the attic, without damaging and polluting them during the plasterboard works. The creation of the joints of the rafters with plasterboard was to be implemented without the use of acrylic sealant. The investor solved exactly this challenging requirement by using a termination profile with a cover strip, and thanks to its use, ensured a trouble-free implementation, without unnecessary complaints from the investor. The foil that covered the original truss was glued onto the removable cover strip contained in the profile. After repainting, the foil with the moulding was removed, creating a very nice detail in the loft. In the end, the admitted rafters remained intact and the connection of the plasterboard was properly treated.
