When replacing windows, especially in renovations, the implementation of the lining is always problematic. A very simple solution is to fix the original lining when dismantling the windows and cover the gap between the profile and the lining with a cover strip of the required width. Such a window replacement can be referred to as a dry window replacement. This method saves a lot of time, as there is no technological break due to the drying of the mortar on the lining after the window replacement.
The slats can also be used in the construction of industrial buildings. There, the window is fitted into a hole in the steel structure. The PU foam used around the perimeter can be covered with these flat slats.
