Incorrectly implemented balcony

With the following pictures we would like to point out the incorrectly implemented balcony on the building of a multifunctional house in Krushetnice in Orava. The paving is implemented in such a way that the overlap over the balcony is insufficient, and this causes rainwater to run down the vertical part of the balcony. The absence of the over-window gutter profile No 3794 causes the water to continue to run down the lower part of the balcony. This causes the plaster to degrade over time, losing its colour and thus creating undesirable colour maps.

Corrosion of the balcony profile

Another problem is the use of the wrong gutter profile. The worst mistake is when a plumbing element made of galvanized steel sheet is used and still in combination with the wrong sanitary transparent silicone. In the picture you can see the beginning of oxidation of the sheet metal due to external moisture. It is the half-life of said elements. And we are not talking about the aesthetic function of this detail. Avoid. We recommend the use of a balcony profile, which is the optimal solution.

The solution is to use the aluminium profile below as the end of the paving on the balcony surface. From the lower part of the balcony, it is necessary to incorporate eaves profile No 3794. As you can see, the use of specific profiles for insulation is necessary. In this case, the eaves profile will prevent water from rising and ensure that the eaves are exactly at the outer bottom edge of the balcony. This will not create the maps that are visible in the locations below.

Let us advise you!
