Often you often encounter that when building a family house, the roof is made and only afterwards the landlord decides how to implement the roof soffit or cornice. Therefore, with this post we would like to make this situation easier for small builders and give them some advice to make their decision. From our point of view, what is important is the speed of implementation and the subsequent and possible self-assembly. For these constructions, this would be possible and could be handled by a less skilled craftsman. We have a solution for you:
- Roof underfloor with PVC boards in RENOLIT decor
- Use of HPL boards in different decors
- Cornice made of plain cement fibreboards in SHERA decor
Soffit made of PVC boards
The advantage of PVC floor boards is that they are lightweight, cost-effective and can be mounted on a wooden grid by almost anyone. The main problem can be prejudice, as PVC does not have a good reputation, especially when it comes to UV stability. Here we can be optimistic, as the quality of these claddings is already very high and it’s up to you what object you use them on.
Use of HPL boards
The advantage of using HPL boards is that they are maintenance-free and can stand out well in the combination of the use of these boards also on the facade. Here you need to be experienced and have proper installation methods for these boards. It’s nothing complicated, but you should only go ahead when you are sure that you know everything you need to know about installation. This is where you need to check with the distributors of those products (TRESPA/FUNDERMAX) in particular .
Cornice made of plain cement fibreboards in SHERA decor
This method is very suitable because you can also use these boards as decorative surfaces within the facade. This can fill a fine choice that would surely be liked by the neighbors as well.
A very good solution is also the use of folded sheet metal. Everything depends on you.
