Redstone: Individual Solutions for Healthy Homes and Dry Walls
We spend 80% of our time indoors. It is time for your home to be truly healthy, dry and comfortable.
Why Does the Quality of Your Home Matter?
Moisture, mould, cold walls, unpleasant indoor air – these are not just aesthetic problems. A poor indoor climate directly harms your health: it burdens the respiratory system, the immune system and can cause asthma, rheumatism or allergies. It also reduces the value of your property.
The German company REDSTONE specialises in wall renovation, moisture and mould elimination. Its product lines – Clima and Secco – offer simple, safe and ecological solutions for both old and new buildings.
The Redstone Philosophy: Simple. Innovative. Safe.
| Principle | What this means in practice |
|---|---|
| Simple | Clear product range, easy application, minimal risk of complaints |
| Innovative | Every product is based on an ecological and efficient approach |
| Safe | Exclusively health-safe, ecologically sound materials |

SECCO LINE – Moisture Remediation: Dry Walls from the Ground Up
Moisture enters walls in various ways: weathering, leaks, condensation, capillary rise from the ground. The Secco line systematically addresses these problems – from horizontal barriers to floor sealing.
Where Does Moisture Come From?
- 🌧️ From outside – weathering, leaks
- 🌊 From below – capillary rise in structural elements in contact with the ground
- 🚿 From inside – showering, cooking, drying laundry + insufficient ventilation
Secco Line Products
Secco Horizontal Barrier (Cream)
Manual pressure-free injection with waterproofing based on micro-silicic acid (silanes + siloxanes). Solvent-free, can be applied to damp masonry. Reliably prevents capillary moisture rise.
Procedure:
- Mark drill holes (max. 12 cm centre-to-centre spacing)
- Drill holes ∅ 12 mm
- Inject cream without pressure
Secco Horizontal Barrier – Rods
A quick and clean alternative to cream. The rods contain hydrophobising silanes and siloxanes – reduce pore diameter and impart hydrophobic properties to the pore walls.
Procedure:
- Drill holes ∅ 12 mm
- Cut rods to the required length
- Insert rods into cleaned holes
- Seal with mineral grouting mortar (e.g. Secco Waterproof)
Secco Barrier Render
High-quality mineral grouting mortar – waterproof, salt-insensitive. Applied in the same way as traditional render.
Advantages:
- Can be applied wet and dry
- Hybrid primer allows time-independent processing
- Resistant to water pressure (several metres of water column)
Procedure: Primer FS-Primer → cove formation → manual or mechanical application → sealing → check minimum thickness of 15 mm
Secco Waterproof
Thin, high-performance solution – waterproofing properties from just 10 mm. Frost-resistant, bonds to damp masonry. Suitable for interior and exterior use.
Secco Due (1K Hybrid Mortar)
Single-component hybrid mortar – simple and highly effective for sealing. Depending on the water content, can be used as:
- paste mortar
- trowel-applied filler compound
- grouting paste
- cavity filler
Ideal for: basements, wet rooms, tanks, concrete and masonry.
Properties: rapid setting, high compressive strength, chemical resistance, salt resistance.
Secco Plinth and Drying Render + Activepor
Microporous material – hydrophobic yet vapour-permeable. Liquid water does not penetrate, water vapour does. Salts do not accumulate in the render → no sacrificial render required.
Activepor is a white, long-lasting alternative to renovation renders – safe, economical, requiring no replacement after years of use.
Procedure: Rough render layer → primer Secco Primer FS → manual or mechanical application → check minimum thickness of 20 mm
